NOVELIST | FILMMAKER | MEDIA ARTIST

Oriane Livingston is a critically acclaimed French-American two-time published novelist, filmmaker, RADA trained actor and environmentalist based in Los Angeles. Her second novel, "The Guardians of Earth" (Ariane Books), has been released in the US, Canada and France, in the fall of 2024. The book has been described as “a female, eco-version of Harry Potter” and is the foundation of a planned multiverse franchise of projects raising awareness about environmental issues. She is directing her first feature documentary, HOPE.

Her work seeks to reconnect us with nature and explores the continuum of transformation— the timeless arc of the hero’s journey described by Joseph Campbell. She draws inspiration from personal stories, animals, mountains, stars, myths, and Eastern philosophies.

She has collaborated on numerous films with Academy Award–winning film producers and major studios in Hollywood and in Europe including Gaumont, Relativity Media, and Aurelio & Luigi De Laurentiis, and worked with cult director Abel Ferrara in Rome. Her journey and her work have been featured in Deadline, Rolling Stone, Le Figaro Littéraire and KGET-TV.
